Betty was born on October 21, 1930 in Seattle, Washington, the daughter of Lyle and Emma DeVore. She resided for the last 30 years in the area of Tigard, Oregon. She was a wonderful friend and a great listener. During her working years, she was employed by and retired in 1993 from Tektronix in Wilsonville, Oregon, where her duties were to support the team of engineers who developed the first color printer.

A memorial service will take place for Betty on Friday, October 19 at noon, in the Chapel at Washington Memorial in SeaTac, Washington.

We will miss our Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, Niece and Friend – she may have coined the phrase “If you can’t say anything nice about someone, then don’t say anything at all.” This phrase was a reflection of her beautiful soul and her unending kindness.

Remembrances to Legacy Hospice.
