Betty Jean Weller, 85, of Seattle, WA, died on Friday, September 6, 2024. She was born on January 4, 1939, to Dominic Carpine and Mary Louise Carpine (Eduardo) in Renton, WA.

Betty attended West Seattle High School. She married Howard Weller on March 8, 1963, and they had 2 children, Deloris and Stanley.

Betty worked as a Sales Associate at Sears and at the Diabetic Education Center at Virginia Mason. She retired in 1998.

Betty was an avid sports fan, proudly supporting the Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Mariners. She loved to watch their games on TV.

Betty is survived by sisters Gloria Sepal and JoAnn Vanderpool, daughter Deloris Weller Burckhard (Thomas Burckhard), and son Stanley Weller. She is also survived by 3 grandsons Matthew, Anton and Lawrence Burckhard.

Betty was preceded in death by both her parents; brothers Domenic Carpine, Antonio Carpine, and Fred Carpine; as well as by her sisters Mary Catherine Carpine, Elsie Ortiz, and Marie Crock.

Visitation will be taking place on Monday, September 30 at 11:00 AM at Bonney Watson Funeral Home, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA 98188, with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM. Betty will be laid to rest at Bonney Watson Washington Memorial Park at 2:00 PM with a reception to follow in the Bonney Watson Funeral Home chapel.

Aunt Betty was a wonderful lady and always fun to be around. Her and Aunt Gloria came to Noah’s birthday 3 years ago and we’re both running/ jumping in the sack race! She will be greatly missed, but she’s left behind some wonderful memories.

Aunt Betty is missed, our hearts hurt for the loss. She’s no longer hurts and is in heaven with Uncle Howard!
