My mom taught me a lot about life. She lived a long and not always healthy life, tho not due to lack of trying. Even with everything she had in life that tried to take her down, she managed to survive beyond all of her immediate family and many friends,SHE TAUGHT ME STRENGTH. From the moment I was old enough to understand, she made sure I knew I was adopted in Love.I have remained unaffected by the word “adopted” because SHE TAUGHT ME& GAVE ME UNCONDITIONAL LOVE,ALWAYS!I never felt different,or strange or unloved & I always felt I belonged. She and my dad ARE my parents-always have been, always will be!She was a GREAT mom,she and my dad taught me so many important things in life that have made me who I am today. For me now, strength and unconditional love are those I hold dearest. She tried to protect me till the very end, although she was suffering so herself. I will never forget these lessons of life, and her undying love for me will bring me strength in my darkest hours. I love you mom, Rest in Peace. (man do i love “copy and paste”!)

Although I only met you once, I know that you were an incredible woman. Your daughter is proof of that. She is an amazing person, just like her mom. You will be truly missed by those who knew and loved you. You can be proud knowing you will live on in your daughter and her son. RIP Betty. I know your watching over your loved ones from up above.
