Praying God’s blessing on you as we remember our Aunt Beulah. We shall forever remember her smile, her laughter, her ” comedy acts”, and fun times we have shared as family whenever we had the chance to visit. God blessed her to be a wonderful Mother who loved her children. Remember her unconditional love to you, her faith in God, and the wonderful life she lived. Rest assured that she’s now in heaven resting in the loving arms of Jesus. We shall keep you in our prayers! Don’t hesitate to call if you ever need us.

Love always,

From Gods hands: 5/19/30 To Gods hands: 1/4/12- Beulah Mae Mills (Magee), my Granny. I don’t know anyone stronger and likely never will. I’ve never witnessed her fall apart in the midst of a storm, just fall to her kness. She taught me that prayer works cuz GOD NEVER forsaked her. She taught me the real meaning of LOVE. Even on her sick bed, her concern was for us- her 9 kids and several grandkids- praying we would b ok. U can’t put a price on that. I’ll miss calling her, laughing with her BUT holding on to the ALL my 37 yrs of memories cuz she was there, ALL 37 yrs. Her getting up for church, singing un the bathroom at the crack of dawn cuz she took pride in herself, ALWAYS! I can still hear her say ‘cuz Mrs Mills gotta b sharp’. We had our own relationship and now those memories I OWN! My Granny never hung up from a call without telling me she loved me and was proud of me, always said it just when I needed to hear it. Rest in Peace Granny

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. (Psalms 30:50).

My heart was saddened when I heard of the homegoing of your love one, Beulah Mills. I enjoyed the time Beulah and I spent together at the Magee-Grant-Thames Family Reunions. Her friendship and compassion was a welcome attribute. She was a woman of great integrity, a loving and special person. Certainly Beulah leaves behind a legacy of many accomplishments. My sincere sympathy, love and prayer go out to the entire Mills family at this difficult time. May God console you and give you strength to continue life’s journey. Beulah’s legacy will continue to live in the hearts of her love ones and friends that have been touched or influenced by her presence.

When a loved one is taken, it creates all kinds of questions in our mind; but trusting in God’s loving sovereignty brings comfort in the midst of grief. Psalms of David: 30:5 – Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. God will comfort you in all your tribulation because He understands it all and He cares. Our love to the entire Mill’s Family.

I wanted to share this beautifully fitting verse. I have been there and we do survive.

Your Mother, Your Angel

© Natasha Jordan

You look back on memories you forgot you had,

And at times you’ll smile even though it hurts so bad.

Your mother is a special woman and no one can take her place,

You’ll find a piece of mind when you remember he smiling face.

Your mother is an angel now she flies high above the rest,

and in your hearts always and forever she will be the best.

She has earned her wings and it’s time for her to fly,

I know it hurts no one is ever ready to say good-bye.

She knows you do not understand and that you cry at night,

But as you finally drift of to sleep let her memory hold you tight.

She will be your guardian angel through the rest of your life,

Helping lead you on the path between what’ wrong and right.

your mother loves you so very much and her love will always remain true,

Please don’t ever think for a second that your mother will forget you.

A mothers love is like no other in the whole world,

d she has the most wonderful memories of a little boy and girl.

She has taken them with her as she’s flown away,

Up to Heaven free of pain which is her new home to stay.

So although you can not see her and you wish she could be there,

Your mother can always hear you and your mother will always care.

A mother does not forget the two greatest loves of her life,

And she loved nothing more than being your mommy, and your daddy’s wife.

She is so proud of her family and that’s in her heart to stay,

Even though she’s and angel and has had to fly away.

So as you cry your tears remember your mothers love,

Being sent to you from her, from the beautiful Heaven above.

She will be there through your good times, she will be there through your bad,

She’ll be there when you are happy, she’ll be there when your sad.

Your mother has become and angel now, it is her time to fly,

And you will never know how bad it hurt me to watch you have to say good-bye.

We had a wonderful grandmother,

One who never really grew old;

her smile was made of sunshine,

And her heart was solid gold;

Her eyes were as bright as shining stars,

And her cheeks fair roses you see.

We had a wonderful grandmother,

And that’s the way it will always be!

Take heed, because she’s still keeping an eye on all of us,

So make sure she like what she sees.

My grandmother lived life on her own terms,

unconditional love and selfless service, his her legacy.

It’s an honor and a privlege to call myself one of her own.

Your spirit will live on forever in our hearts – We love you Grandma.

Family my prayers, love, and peace i send to you along with true comfort that GOD above can only give. Auntie Beulah will be missed but always remembered. The memories and pictures will keep you and her words and conversations that she had with you. I’m so glad i had the chance to talk to her prior. all””””” her babies made her proud and smile from the oldest to the youngest.but her concern and what was expressed was not wanting the souls of her seed and seeds seed lost!! so that she can see you again one day. She knew!!! just going to church and right hand of fellowship isn’t the password. But coming into the true knowledge of GOD and making Jesus LORD not a religion but a relationship with him. her body is gone but her soul and spirit are with GOD real talk.!!!!! Anyway honor her in all!!!! yaw do, with her wishes money getting along agreeing and having each others back in peace and love. KNOW this she will always be watchin and celebratin at the special events in your lives. And so will GOD who is gonna bring to pass prayers she has planted yrs. ago and died believing HE would take care of you all when she left. I know this wasn’t short but like my Pastor says its the truth anyhow” Aunt Beulah i heard you and the family will!!!! be alright in JESUS Name. Love ya, Donni and family

1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Please do not be unhappy

because your love one is out of sight.

Remember that she is with you

every morning, noon and night.

The day she had to leave you

when her life on earth was through,

God picked her up and hugged her

and He said, “I welcome you.”

When you think of her life on earth,

and all those loving years

because you are only human,

you are bound to shed some tears.

But do not be afraid to cry;

it does relieve the pain.

Remember there would be no flowers,

unless there was some rain.

To the Mills Family, please know we are thinking of you, believing with you, praying for your and wanting you to know how much we care. May God continue to bless you and give you strength.

If roses grow in Heaven

Lord please pick a bunch for me,

place them in my mother’s arms

and tell her they’re from me.

Tell her I love her and miss her

and when she turns to smile,

place a kiss upon her cheek

and hold her for a while.

Because remembering her is easy

I do it everyday,

But there’s an ache within my heart

That will not go away.

I miss you Big Lady. You were my running buddy, my best friend and the best Mother I could ever have. I thank God for blessing me with an Angel named “Beulah”. I will forever be grateful and humbled by the gift of unconditional love you gave me. Take your rest, Big Lady….it is well deserved!

How do you spell love? ( B e u l a h) The best sister a person could ever have. We not only look alike, but we shared and loved the same things. When you left Waterloo, I thought my world had crumbled, because of how close we were. But you said, even though we were miles apart, we are never separated because of our love.

I can never express what it means to me for having been there before you went to be with the Lord. The special moments that only you and I could share. I know that you were ready to go home, but you were strong for me (Just as you were when I was a little girl).

Rest in peace my dear sister. You not only had “One Night with the King”, you now have ETERNITY !

And to my nieces and nephews: She left for you a legacy of love, unselfishness, respect and dignity. Pass it on to each other.

I love you all.
