Nancerina,

My prayers and condolences to you and your family on the death of your dad. You always spoke highly of him and his “one liners and wit.” You will carry his trait with you the rest of your life and know that he is there.

A friend of mine sent me these passages during my time of crisis and found them to be helpful:

Psalm 34:18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are

crushed in spirit.

Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you

as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Love,

Jocerina

What a great guy Bill was. Always a cheeful smile and he loved his daughters so much. I remember going car shopping with Liz years ago and I thought we got a great deal. Her dad went back and talked to the salesman and would not leave till he got her an even better deal! Always watching out for the family was his way. I am sorry I cannot be there today as I am in a training session at work but my thoughts are with the entire Avent family. I hope the rest of the year is filled with joy and happiness for you all, you deserve it.

Dad- my sweet sweet Father, What a trouper you were. Knowing that your fight is over, and you and Mom are together, and healthy, and at peace, is what gets me through this, even a day at a time. I long for our talks, our laughter, and your wisdom. You are the reason, your girls, became the women they are today. Your grandchildren were left with such beautiful memories, from both you and Mom, that they will treasure forever. I need to not look any further than Billy, to see you.I miss you so much Dad, you were such a force in my life, in my children’s lives, and we will never forget you. You and Mom , hold on to each other, continue to dance to those beautiful songs, and we will all see you soon. I know you are in good hands. I love you Dad
