Kay loved roller skating with her family as a teenager and took it up again when she turned 60, visiting rinks and making friends in Federal Way, Puyallup, Marysville and Portland, only giving it up when COVID shut down the rinks.

Kay was very active with the Federal Way Food Bank, Courageous Conversations, Coalition Against Human Trafficking and Missions committee at Journey Church in Federal Way. Her special service to the church family was sending Birthday Cards with words with Biblical references of encouragement to the adult members of the congregation.

Kay loved her family deeply and was delighted with and in love with our ten grandchildren and especially our great-grandson little Enzo whom she was blessed to meet, hold, and love on.
