Bobby Neal Norquist
Bobby Norquist passed away at his home surrounded by family on Jan. 18, 2006. He was born on Jan. 8, 1922 in White, SD. He served in the Navy before settling in Seattle in 1945, where he met the love of his life, Doralyn, and they raised their three children. A lifelong Teamster, after retirement he volunteered at the VA Hospital and SE Seattle Senior Center, and was an active member of Rainier Beach United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Doralyn, son Robert, daughter Barbara, grandchildren Kimberly, Cherie, Brian, Ruthanne, and Andrew, great-grandson, Owen, and many friends, including his wonderful cardiologist, Dr. Doces. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon. Bobby was known for his wit and great sense of humor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Rainier Beach United Methodist Church.
