Obituary

Boyd G. Kelso passed away September 30, 2008 at Foss Home & Village in Seattle.

Born October 28, 1914 on the family homestead near Madrid, NE, h e was the sixth of nine children born to Thomas Jefferson Kelso and Hattie Jane Letner.

April 2, 1939 he married Eulah Maxine Lee of Imperial, NE. They later divorced.
Boyd lived most of his life in the Seattle area and joined Boeing in January 1941 as an electroplater. August 1945 he left Boeing to join the Sea Bees and was stationed in San Diego, and For Hueneme, CA.

Discharged April 17, 1946, he returned to Seattle and joined the Valiquette & Kelso partnership, and later the Foss & Kelso partnership doing carpentry working and house painting.

Survivors include his brother, Thomas Kelso of Wheatridge, Co; and many nieces and nephews.

Known and loved for his kindness, generosity, cheerfulness and love, he will be greatly missed by family and friends whose lives he touched and blessed.

Inurnment was at Lake View Cemetery where he rests beside his long-time companion Monica LeDrew.
