Bradley Edward Lyon, age 62, passed away on May 9, 2025, in Lynnwood, Washington, surrounded by loving friends and family.
Born and raised in Seattle, Brad worked for many years at Boeing, but he was best known for the richness of his interests and the generosity of his spirit. A gifted craftsman and creative soul, he poured himself into furniture making, jewelry design, and gardening. He was also a lifelong University of Washington Husky Football fan, fierce in his loyalty and unrelenting in giving his Cougar-supporting neighbor exactly the grief such allegiance deserved.
Brad was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Michelle, and by his parents, Michael and Marianne Lyon. He is survived by his devoted daughter, Reed; his girlfriend, Mellany, whose kindness and care during Brad’s illness brought comfort and light in his final year; and his brother, Mark. He maintained ties with Michelle’s family and particularly enjoyed carrying on holiday traditions. A private graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Seattle, Washington on June 12, 2025 at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center.
