Obituary
Brian Donquill Owens a resident of Renton, Washington, formerly of Arlington, TX departed this life on August 2, 2018, at the age of 43 years. Brian was born September, 19, 1974, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and spent his teenage years in Arlington, Texas. He attended and graduated from Arlington High School where he graduated among the top of his class. Brian had a keen sense of family devotion, shown in his exemplary care as a son to his mother, a loving father, uncle and friend. He often was the big brother to his cousins and his love for children displayed in his willingness to give his last to others.
Brian was considered a fun loving jokester and the greatest debater regarding the Dallas Cowboys. All his family and friends can attest to his stand and hopes for a winning team. He enjoyed the Marvel comics and a master video gamer, ranking among the best players in history.
Brian gave his life to Christ at an early age at Mount Harmony Missionary Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and later became a member of Southeast Arlington Community Church where he worked in various youth programs furthering the gospel of Christ. He lived under the blessed assurance that he will spend eternity in the bosom of our heavenly Father.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving mother, Evelyn Owens; Keith Owens (brother); three sons, Brian Gabriel, Adrian Michael, Cameron Jin; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and friends.
A very special nephew has left this side and joined our other Family members in heaven. We shall miss Brian.
Our sincere condolences to his Mom, my Sister Evelyn.
Love,
Marietta and Oliver
Brian was a genuine soul. In a world full of phoniness and people pretending to be what they’re not to impress those who really don’t matter, Brian was genuine.
I did not feel comfortable speaking at the service but I felt like I knew everyone there already because Brian spoke of his family so often. Most of his conversation revolved around his family, his kids and of course, football. I heard stories about each of you there and I wish I’d had the courage to get up and speak but I just didn’t feel comfortable. But please know he loved you all and spoke of you often until the very end.
I feel so very fortunate Cameron and I spent the last several months with Brian. I love him and miss him but he will live on through his three sons.
Brian will be truly missed by our family. My nephew was kind-hearted and definitely a big jokester.I remember babysitting him and Keith sometimes during the summer when they were younger. Man how they could find things to get into. I will miss him and I will not let his boys forget that their dad loved them very much. We will help look out for his mom Evelyn. I know he was met in Heaven with lots of hugs from our loved ones already there.
Love you Brian,
Your Aunt Michele
I am truly going to miss my nephrew , the long talks about our beloved Dallas Cowboys. You got one on me, now you can holler at Tom Landry the old coach. My heart is full of sadness, but it God will to take you and I know you are resting in peace no more worry and sickness.
My nephew Brian had a quite soul, until you start talking about sports. My favorite rival during football season. Going to miss his philosophical views. We were always going at it when it came to the Cowboys or Seahawks playing against my favorite teams. I know you’re resting and at peace. We your family, knew that you loved your three boys & we will make sure they won’t forget you.
Love and miss you always,
Aunt Marilyn
My nephew Brian, I loved very much! It’s hard for me to write this because I still can’t believe he is gone. But I know he is at peace and with the Lord. I always thought he would be here to help Mike give the “eye” to Kim and Kayla’s future husband, but I guess I’ll have to do that with Mike now. (smile)
Brian was good at heart and always ready and willing to help out. Brian will always be in our memory and we will be here to help his sons know who he was!
Love,
Unc and Aunt Renee
My cousin Brian was one of the most generous people I had ever met. His laugh and smile were a warm welcome to his generosity. He was and will always be my brother. I miss and love you cousin.
