Brian Arndt
Brian Thomas Arndt age 32, passed away peacefully September 10, 2014 at his home in Seattle. He was born September 1, 1982 in Pocahontas, Iowa to David and Linda (Shaveland) Arndt.
He attended PocahontasAreaSchool and graduated in 2001. Brian then attended Central College in Pella, Iowa where he was chosen to a 16 member acappella choir which toured in Romania. He transferred to Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa and earned a Bachelor degree in Architecture in 2006. Brian studied in Rome, Italy for one semester prior to graduation.
In January 2007, he accepted an architecture job with DLR Group in Seattle, Washington. He accepted another opportunity with Jeff Wasserman and his wife Darlene of JJW Architecture in Seattle where he worked until the time of his death.
He is survived by his parents Dave and Linda Arndt of Pocahontas, brother and sister in law Michael and Emily Arndt and two nephews Colton and Brady Arndt of Ankeny. Grandparents Milo and Elsie Shaveland of Emmetsburg and his partner Tim Allen of Seattle. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents Flora and Leon Arndt and an Uncle Jim Arndt.
Brian thoroughly enjoyed his family, friends, his cat Bombay and 2 dogs Lucy and Tylor. He loved being outdoors at the dog park, hiking, and spending time with many friends in the Seattle area.
