Brittni Danielle Williams (nickname Britt) was born April 26, 1997, in Renton, Washington. Brittni’s beloved parents, Valetta and Chris Williams instilled into Brittni the values of being an honorable, and kind person with a focus on family, friends, academics, and athletics. Brittni attended schools in Auburn, WA, which includes Lakeland Elementary, Mount Baker Middle School, and is a proud grad of Auburn Riverside High School.
Brittni was very active in education events and sports where she excelled in both. Each year she would qualify and earn national honors in both areas. During high school, Brittni was a standout basketball player and one of the top track and field athletes in the state winning several awards. Track and Field was a family event, Brittini was often coached by her dad Chris and shared the love of Track and Field with her mother Valetta, and her sister Brandi as they both were standouts in Track and Field.
Brittni earned academic and athletic scholarships to The University of Arizona where she studied Bio-Chemistry and was a member of the Wildcats track team. She later transferred to Washington State University where she continued to pursue track and field. Brittni qualified and competed in the Pac-12 championships competing in the Triple Jump. In 2020 Brittni graduated from Washington State University receiving her degree in Microbiology with a minor in Molecular Biology. After graduation, Brittni was hired by the Washington State Dept of Heath as a Microbiologist. She loved the work and the people she worked with. She would share with her parents how rewarding her work was and the great people she worked with.
Brittni was a wonderful daughter, dedicated sister, loyal family member, and a woman of kindness and high integrity. Her family meant everything to Brittni. She loved them all immensely and always put family first. She loved her pets like they were her children, insisting they always receive the best of care. She enjoyed hanging out with her friends and was always willing to give a helping hand. Brittni was always sensitive to others and their feelings. Brittni loved family trips. Each summer she would help plan where the family would go on summer vacation with Knott’s Berry Farm and Disneyland being one of the family’s favorite places to visit.
She is proceeded in death by her mother Valetta (Kitten) Williams, her grandparents Evelyn LaRuth Moore, Rev. Otis, and Addie Moore, her uncle’s Otis Moore, Bernard Williams, Doug McWhorter, and Floyd Williams.
Brittni is survived by Chris her father and her sister Brandi, and her grandmother Lela Sanders. Her two great aunts Trisha and Joe Ann Moore, aunts Loretta Causey, Yulanda King, her cousins John Curtis, Alesia, (husband Vincent) Catrina, Jasmine, Amira, Nia, Micah, Jordan, Jacob, and a host of family and friends.
