Obituary
BRYAN JOSEPH LEPENSKE
JULY 5, 1973 TO OCTOBER 14, 2017
Bryan Joseph LePenske was born at Fort Knox, Kentucky on July 5, 1973, where his parents James A. and Carma L. LePenske were stationed while in the United States Army.
In 1976, Bryan moved with his parents to Seattle, Washington where his father was stationed at Seattle University ROTC and then to Fort Lewis, Washington in 1979. In July, 1983 Bryan and his family moved to Heidelberg, Germany and where Bryan attended Heidelberg High School. Bryan returned to his home in Seattle, Washington in 1992, when his father retired from active military service. Bryan joined the United States Army in 1994 and was stationed with the 101st Airborne Brigade. He left the service, obtained his GED and enrolled at the Renton Technical College to earn a degree as a Computer Specialist. Bryan worked in the computer field for many years until the effects of his health problems kept him from steady work.
After his first heart attack, Bryan spent more and more time at the Seattle VA Hospital. He was later diagnosed with crippling arthritis in both hands which effected the nerves in both hands, which kept him in almost constant pain. Bryan struggled to continue full time work, but between his worsening arthritis and his second heart attack, he could not work again.
He loved electronic gadgets and was always taking apart electric motors to see how they worked. He was fascinated with flying electric drones and loved to modify them to get better performance out of them. Bryan was hospitalized numerous times and in 2015, he moved back in with his parents in order to help him cope with his medical conditions. Then after he returned home from his third heart attack, his body racked with pain, Bryan’s heart gave out and could not support his ailing body. He died peacefully, in the early afternoon of October 14, 2017.
BRYAN IS NOW AT PEACE AND WITHOUT PAIN
