Carlo Prandi
Carlo was born in the Kent valley May 29, 1925, and left us August 27, 2003 at the age of 78 years. His parents, Giovanni and Mercedes Prandi were immigrants from Bergamo and Andalo Italy. Carlo worked in the gardens with his parents until joining the Navy during WWII. After the service, Carlo worked delivering milk for Riverview Farms Dairy. He then became an insurance agent for 31 years. Carlo was past president of the Renton Sons of Italy, and a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. After retiring he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, sports, vegetable garden, and his cat. Carlo always enjoyed his glass of wine. Carlo is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth Prandi of Seattle, son James Carlo Prandi of Miami Beach, FL, daughter Judith and Chris Moore of Renton, grandchildren Jeff Mattheis of Seattle, and Kevin and Leslie Moore of Renton, sister Rena and Frank Siccardi of Bothell, brother Bob and Rosalyn Prandi of Kent, brother-in-law Andrew M. and Irene Bevilacqua of Seattle, sister-in-law Elsie and Ray Nielsen of Tukwila, brother-in-law Phil and Marj Woody of Normandy Park, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives in Italy, and friends. Carlo was preceded in death by his daughter Linda Mattheis in 1996. Visitation Friday 3:00 – 5:30 PM at BONNEY-WATSON Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd., SeaTac 206 242-1787.. Rosary Friday, August 29th at 7:00 PM with Funeral Mass Saturday, August 30th at 10: 00 AM both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 15236 21st Ave. SW, Seahurst. always enjoyed talking with carlo at the sons of italy renton lodge, we will miss him but wont forget him.
