Obituary

Carmen (Camerota) Duppenthaler

January 4, 1969 ~ January 21, 2014

On January 21st, God welcomed home a special soul.  Carmen Lynn Duppenthaler, 45, passed away peacefully with her family by her side after a 5 year courageous battle with breast cancer.   She was a true inspiration to all that knew her.  She had such a positive outlook on life, loved her family & friends unconditionally and showed amazing strength and faith.  Her favorite thing in life was being involved with her children’s school and sports activities.  She was a proud soccer mom who loved being team manager all the way until the end with her son’s PacNW Team.   Although she left us too soon, we are truly blessed to have her in our lives.  She set a foundation for us to continue to live by and she will never be forgotten.

Carmen is survived by her husband Jeff, daughter Carly (14), Son Kyle (11),  parents John and Charlene Camerota,  brother Duane Camerota, sister Dena (Jeff) Reindel along with many close nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at St Thomas Parish in Tukwila, WA on Friday January 31st, 2014 at 11am.

In lieu of flowers Carmen would like donations to go to Highline Relay for Life, Team Carmen for a Cure.

Jeff, Carly & Kyle – I will forever miss Carmen and I will be here for you all always. Carmen loved you Jeff with her whole heart and her children meant the world to her. I will miss our family birthdays and holidays with her especially when we would make our annual Easter pizza’s and hold our yearly garage sale- what fun times we had. I was so blessed to be able to call her sister and friend and I will miss her everyday.

Jeff, Carly and Kyle. My heart breaks for your loss of your wife and mother. She was an amazing woman who loved her family so much! May God bless you as you move forward in this new journey of life. I was blessed to know her at Carriage Crest and to work alongside her as a volunteer. She will be missed in the Fairwood community!

I have such fond memories of you coaching my son Michael for the first time in soccer. I remember meeting Carmen on the sidelines and finding out that we both went to Foster High School. Those two years of soccer started a wonderful friendship. I will forever miss my margarita’s and nacho’s with Carmen. I pray for your continued strength and peace. Love to you and Carly and Kyle.

So hard to believe you are gone. In reading your posts and blogs, I had hoped that you would be able to kick this terrible disease. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
