Carol and I were college room mates at New Mexico Tech in the early ’70s. She was a very happy and upbeat person to be around. Carol’s spirits soared when she played the piano. In fact, she once remarked that she was very sorry that she quit piano lessons and her parents did not make her go back.

Carol and I hung around together in Driscoll Hall at Tech and at times she would come out to the tennis courts with me to hit a few balls.

I had only just gotten in touch with Carol again after an extended length of time and had no idea that she was sick because I had meant to try to pick up our friendship where we had left off years ago.

May her spirits soar and her fingers make beautiful music in the great beyond.

I celebrate her life and am a better person for having known her.

Carol was my dear friend.. and i will miss her emensley. She would always send me little thoughtful surprises in the mail to let me know she was thinking about me. She had a memory as sharp as a tack and you know when you told her something she was truely listening and cared about you.

Im so thankful that she was my friend.
