Carol Ann Verdi, 82, of Tukwila, Washington, passed away on June 29, 2024.
She was born on June 29, 1942 in the quaint little town of Mt. Angel, Oregon, the oldest of six children to her parents Joseph and Velma Erpelding. Growing up on the family farm, she learned to work hard and help her parents take care of her sisters Midge, Dorothy, Sue, Ann and her brother Robert.
After high school, she was married to her first husband with whom she had two sons, Greg and Troy. She used her experiences growing up to become a loving mother and homemaker.
After her divorce, she found love and companionship with Pat Verdi and was married, becoming a step-mother to Linda, Vicki, Janet, and Jonny. Later in life they adopted Pat’s granddaughter Jennifer. After she became a widow in 2007, she continued living in and taking care of her home of 40 years doing what she loved, gardening.
She is survived by her son Troy and wife Alejandra, her step daughters, Linda and husband Jim, Vicki, Janet, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Beautifully written, Troy. Carol was a wonderful woman and her legacy will live on in what you and her family do living forward on this journey. We love her and we love you all as well.
