Obituary
Carol Jean Voelzke of Burien, passed away peacefully in her sleep
on July 13, 2024, at age 82, in Federal Way, after suffering from
Alzheimer’s disease for many years. She was born in Perham, MN to
Charles and Brunetta (Winslow) Rockwell on March 4, 1942. She was
preceded in death by husband, Robert; grandson Derek; mother
Brunetta; father Charles (Chuck); sisters: Kathryn (Kay), Bonita
(Bonnie), Joyce; and Brother Steven. She is survived by her daughters
Laura (Michael) of Auburn, Kalisa of Federal Way, and Tiffany
(Timothy) of Cle Elum; granddaughters Brooke of Federal Way,
Nicole (Heidi) of Burien, Decklyn of Cle Elum; Maeve of Cle Elum;
Greatgrandchild Ava Jane of Tacoma, sister Janetta (Jan) of
Renton, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at
a later date.
