Carol Thompson Powe was born in Burley, Idaho on July 4, 1938 and entered into rest on August 29, 2017 in Burien, Washington.  Death came as a blessed release for her after a hip replacement and months of medical misjudgments.  Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Emma Thompson, her sister, Marjorie (Mrs. Loren) Miller, and her three brothers, Dick, Herbert, and Arthur Thompson, and her ex-husband Delmar Powe.  She is survived by her niece Beverly Wallace, and nephews Bill and Ed Thompson, and Dan Miller.

Carol grew up on a farm in Burley, Idaho.  She was ten years old when her father died.

She moved to Seattle and worked at the Bon Marche department store.  Later she worked as a care-giver where she assisted many people.

Carol loved to garden and beautify her home.  She had a generous heart and shared what she had with the needy.  She was much loved and will be missed by her friends.
