Obituary
Carole E. Wolfer
In Loving Memory
Carole passed away peacefully in her home of 37 years on Lake Tapps September 9th, 2008. She was born in Lovell Wyoming on December 17, 1934.
She was preceded in death by her wonderful husband and partner Robert ‘Bob’ Wolfer after 53 great years of marriage and her mother Anna Hutchins of whom we both love and miss so very, very much.
Carole worked and co-owned a machine shop that Bob had started back in 1965 in Kent.
She loved golf, fishing, traveling and of course the occational trip to the casino to play the slots. She loved entertaining at the lake and was a great cook. And of course we can’t forget what avid Seahawk fans that her and Bob were. They were season ticket holders from the very start and very much loved planning an exciting vacation every year that revolved around an away game.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Debra White, Cindy Robinson and Sandy Wolfer; Six grandchildren, Nicole Bushie, Andrea Volmer, Jennifer Christianson, Brandon Burris, Jessica and Jamie Carosino; Five great-grandchildren, Alexus, Briana, Jazlyn, Dylan, and her newest 2 month old Nicholas.
Carole was a great wife and mother and a wonderful person. We love mom and will miss you more than ever.
A viewing will be offered Sunday, 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday September 15th at 1:00 p.m. at Bonney-Watson/ Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd. Seatac, WA.

It is hard to put into words the sadness and emptyness I feel about Carole’s passing. Our famlies spent so much time together when I was a child..She, Bob & her Mother played an important role in my childhood memories. She was a natural beauty & an elegant lady.I believe she is with the people she loved & who loved her. My thoughts are with her family. Love Rodna
We all had the opportunity to meet Carole while she visited her mother here at Stafford Suites. We all have missed Anna and Carole since the passing of Anna. They meant so much to each other, now they can be together again. We will never forget the family of these wonderful ladies.
I was shocked I had talked to her Friday before I had left for Germany and she sounded great. She will be missed deeply. Sorry wa unable to attend the funeral but I am still in Germany but you will all be in my thoughts.
Words cannot express my feelings of loss with the passing of Carole- an end to an era- my mom & dad loved her so much- like another daughter to them- my favorite memory of her was her patience & tolerance- I’ll never forget long ago camping trips- bugging her to play games with me- she’d say no- no- then always give in & say Monopoly again!!!- Carole, I never got to say I loved you, respected you & what a class act you were- You’ll never be forgotten- my thoughts are with your children & grandchildren- Much Love Roxane
Carole was a classy, kind, generous lady and a very important member of our family. All of us younger girls in the family really looked up to her. My favorite thought about Carol was my Grandfather Robert’s saying, “THAT CAROLE IS REALLY SOMETHING!” Indeed, she is and we will always hold her close in our thoughts and in our hearts. She is very loved.
To the family of Bob and Carole Wolfer: We are so sad to hear of Carole’s passing. She was a wonderful lady and we will truly miss her. I was a boyhood friend of Bob’s and have also known Carole since our high school days. Bob and Carole supported our efforts to raise money for Children’s Hospital each year. In appreciation, Edgar Martinez once gave me an autographed picture of himself addressed especially to Carole as he was one of her favorites. I remember her excitement on the day I gave it to her. She was indeed a wonderful lady. Our condolences to the family.
