Obituary
Catherine Cathy A. MOCK
A great loss to her loving family and friends, Cathy passed away on June 6, 2006. She was born on February 28, 1951 in Seattle and graduated from Tyee High School. After high school, Cathy entered an adventurous phase in her life, moving to Texas and trying her hand at everything from working on oil rigs to co-managing an alligator and reptile farm. On her return to Seattle, she married Anden Mock, her devoted husband of 19 years. Settling first in Federal Way, Cathy was involved in community improvement projects and completed her AA degree at Highline Community College. To pursue her life-long love of animals and gardening, she and Anden moved to Rochester, WA where she made new friends, rode her horses, and gathered many and varied pets. She and Anden also enjoyed camping together and assisting Anden in presenting his marionette shows for children in the community. Cathy is survived by her husband Anden, father Robert Bob and Jean Davison, and brother Randy and Mary Davison. She is further survived by her Aunt Dorothy and Ken Slotten, and many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Anderson. Her life will be remembered and celebrated in a memorial service at 1:00 PM, Monday, June 19, 2006 at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA Remembrances suggested to Providence SoundHomeCare & Hospice or PAWS.
WE WILL MISS OUR DEAR FRIEND CATHY FOREVER BUT WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER ALL OF THE GOOD TIMES WE SHARED WITH HER. THANKS FOR BEING OUR FRIEND. WE WILL WATCH OVER ANDEN FOR YOU CATHY!!!!!!!!
Cathy will be missed very much. Les and I did not hear about her passing until after her funeral. We are so sorry. Our thoughts are with you, Anden, Randy and Mary, and all her family.
Being Anden & Cathy’s neighbor for years in Federal Way, WA, I have so many memories. Watching over their pets when they went on vacation and vice versa, the Saturdays spent with Cathy at Weight Watchers, the shopping we did together, the Haunted House we were involved with for Halloween, the many talks and laughs we shared. I don’t know if either one of them even knew how much they meant to me. Maybe Anden will now, if he sees this. It didn’t matter when I moved to another state, because I never forgot them, and I had always hoped they would come here, too. At least I got to see them around Christmas time this last Christmas, when they came for a visit to Las Vegas. I miss Cathy so much. Take care, Anden. I’ve always loved you both.
