Grandma Herbers is how I will always remember you. For so many years I remember always coming over after school and being greeted by your welcoming smile and open arms. You were always so nice to me and made me feel part of the family. I always looked forward to seeing and snacking on the newest and freshest batch of cookies for every month. You were ” The Cookie Queen” and the sweetest woman I knew! Thank you for being you! I am honored to have had you in my life. You will be missed.
My heart and thoughts go out to your friends and family and everyone that was touched by your caring heart. Always and Forever in my thoughts and memories!

Al:
Our prayers are with you during this difficult time and will pray for you and your family.
My fondest memory of Cathy was how the two of you always took great pleasure in securing the first tee time on Sunday for couples golf. It seemed to be a contest between you and the Weldy’s as to who would get the first one. Cathy was humble and gracious and she will be missed.

Cathy, it was so much fun working with you in Junior Golf. You were so great with the kids. I will miss you, and only ask that you watch over all of these young golfers from your new position On High.
Al & family
Our hearts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Cathy was a delightful lady to be around. We had a wonderful time playing golf with the two of you.
We know that she wasn’t up to playing recently, but now she can again play to her hearts content. We will miss her too.
As we grieve the absence of Cathy, we recognize that in the mystery of God’s divine plan and celebration of life, she came among us to laugh, to work, to love and at the end of her days, to be gently embraced by her Creator in the fullness of eternal life.
“Eye has not seen, ear has not heard what God has ready for those who love Him.”
Al,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

My thoughts are with you and your family.
Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
It is difficult to put into words how sad we are for your family’s loss of someone so dear to all of you. We remember her pleasant personality if she happened to be at your home when we stopped by for a visit. Our fondest memory will be her thoughtfulness in baking her delicious chocolate chip cookies to send in a care package when Keith was a freshman in college. She was truly a wonderful grandmother not only to Carl and David. We know that Cathy is resting in peace, so we pray now for peace and comfort for you and all your family members. Take care.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at such a difficult time. Cathy was a great lady and a friend to all. You were the best friend to our Mel and our family during our struggles, if there is anything we can do to help you please let us know.
Our deepest sympathy,
Al, I’m very sorry for your loss. I did not have the chance to meet Catherine but I can only imagine that she was as wonderful a person as you. See you at the club.
Mitch

We have many memories of Cathy – those Sunday golf games with the two of you and the many times we waited together while our junior golfing grandsons finished playing. She will be missed by a lot of people
We spent many Sun. afternoons on the golf course with Kathy. On Sun. March 20, 1983, You used a 6 iron on # 3, Kathy. Looked good to me, so I too used a 6 iron. In the hole it went. Thanks, Kathy. Get us a tee time up there, we’ll all be there sooner or later.
My heartfelt sympathies to her family
Having lived next door to Mrs. Herbers during my formative grade school years, I will always remember her kindness and sweet disposition. She always made the neighborhood kids feel welcome and at home in her presence. Her gentle and good nature was an example for all of us as we grew up.
Debby, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
To my dad, sister, brother, husband and sons my thoughts and prayers go to all of you at this sad time. I hope that this great loss will provide us a stronger family bond.
We are all thinking about all of you at this sad time. I will miss her sweet smiling face and kindness. She was like another Grandma to Josh when he was at your house a lot of the time and fed him well too. We all admired her. What a wonderful person.
Our prayers are with you Al. God bless you and your family.

To the Herbers extended family, we express our greatest sympathy at the loss of the matriarch of your family. We will miss Cathy’s presence in our neighborhood and the opportunity to partake in her “world class” oatmeal and raisin cookies.
