I met Celia when she was alittle girl, and to see pictures of her as a beautiful young women bring a smile to my face. I just found out about this this today and it saddens me that her life came to an end at such a young age. It was definitely my pleasure to have met such a great person and the great family that she comes from.

I was so sorry to hear of Celia’s passing. I remember attending Garfield with her — we were both on the swim team together, and often swam in the same lane and on the same relays. I also saw her often at the Aquarium, where we both volunteered. Celia was such a sunny presence, and truly a joy to be around. I feel so lucky to have known her; her kindness and cheerful personality was always so infectious. My thoughts are with her and her family, and I will always remember her fondly.

During this time of sorrow, we would like to offer you our prayers and comfort. It is a time to remember the good times with Celia. It is a time to remember the memories of the precious times spent with Celia. She truly was a gift from God. She truly was an angel. Celia was one special child and one who cared for others. Yes she will be missed but also remember what joy and happiness she brought us all. We would not be who we are today without having known Celia. We will always love her with our whole heart.

Dear Uncle Josh,Auntie Joan,Celia and Melissa,

I’m not sure what to say because I know that no words can change what has happened. But sometimes words are needed to release emotions that can’t be expressed any other way. I love you all so much. I don’t believe in karma any more.

Celia, you were just a little girl when I first met you. Time really flies.

I also remember you kindly showing us around at the Seattle Aquarium a few years ago. My daughters Tina and Elena remember you, too.

We still can’t believe you aren’t there. When I told the news to Tina, she cried. We hugged and cried.

Mom in Seattle, and especially Joan and Melissa, I don’t know what to say to help ease your pain, but I want you to know that you are in our thoughts and Braven and I asked all the people at our church to say a special prayer for you this past Sunday. Braven remembers Celia as having had so much promise and potential, and reminds us that her memory still provides an example of excellence and achievement that our two girls will be able to look up to and emulate.

And you will remain in our thoughts and prayers as we look forward to seeing you again soon.
