Charlene Camerota
Charlene was born on November 12, 1938 in Eloy, Arizona, and passed away on November 7, 2017 after a long, courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Charlene was a floral designer who had a great eye for design. She was a gourmet cook who could be found every Sunday cooking for her family. She enjoyed all the holidays and made each one special. She loved to garden and sew. She was talented at knitting and crocheting; she made many items for her family and friends.
Proceeded in death by her parents, siblings and daughter Carmen Duppenthaler. Survived by her husband, John Camerota, Jr; son, Duane Camerota, daughter Dena (Jeff) Reindel, son-in-Law Jeff Duppenthaler. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, who called her Mema; Ben Reindel, Lyndsie Neely (James), Corinne Camerota, Nick Camerota, Carly Duppenthaler, Kyle Duppenthaler, and great-grandson, Kason Williams.

My memories of Charlene are special to me. I remember she was so nice whenever I went to her house to see my friend Dena. She liked to garden and paint her fingernails. I saw her many times in the floral department where she worked and she was always smiling. She gave me a beautiful crystal dish 36 years ago for a wedding present that I still have and cherish…My heart goes out to the family, especially my friend since high school Dena. I love the family.
Where does one start about Mom, Dena, she was beautiful inside and out. Always had that wonderful attitude, even with her going through so much herself. Never forget those chats when she was over at the house. Quite a woman in our book. Memories will always stay in our heart. Life has not been easy for her these past few years, but like always, she was a trooper. She is now with Carman, peaceful and no more discomfort for her anymore. She surely will be missed, by all of the family. Her smile will linger on for ever. Rest in Peace Charlene.We love you.
I will miss my Auntie- she gave me the nickname “jellybeans” that still is with me today. Such a beautiful lady always doing EVERYTHING for her family she loved so much. Fond memories of staying the night at her house with Carmen, having delicious food, learning to garden, and crafting. She was a true artist! May you all be comforted knowing she is in her full glory in Heaven and reunited with Carmen. God Bless.
