Elaine my prayers anf thoughts are with you always
oh, Bill! You were missed on Saturday at our belated Christmas gathering over at Ken and Alice’s. You always had such a strong and solid presence, because of or in spite of your quiet demeanor and I think that did a lot of good for all of us, the family.
You raised a good kid, enjoyed beautiful and terrific grandchildren and were never afraid to be different.
Elaine deserved you and you deserved her–both of you worked so well together and were so positive to be around. I loved how dry and wry your sense of humor was. I needed it.
THank you for being who you were–you do live on in all of us. We bless you and remember you and honor you.
Gabrielle
Elaine and family,
I will always remember Bill as a gentle, kind man and a friend – a man of God. He was always there for me. We offer our condolences at his passing.
Beck and I attended Angle Lake Church for many years. Becky is Larry and Terry Brooks daughter. We started in ’76 and were married there in ’78. Both Bill and Elaine are giants in our eyes. They helped us to define what a Christian should be like. Always there to help, with a quiet grace that seemed to know and understand all. Even in the rocky times of the church split when words were thrown and hot heads seemed to rule the day, it was Bill’s quiet confidence that helped to make sense of the worldly mess. Bill’s example of a Christian man will always be with me and guide my life. I look forward to thanking him on that day we will surely meet again. Beck and I send our love & prayers for God’s comfort.
Extending our deepest sympathy to you and your family. May you find comfort and strength in Almighty God’s promise.-John 5:29.
