Obituary

CHARLES EDWARD ESSKO, age 91 was born to Charles and Katie Kablit Essko April 13, 1916 in Roslyn, WA and passed away December 21st, 2007 in Lacey, WA. He served in the United States Marine Corp in both World War II and Korea as a Tank Commander, retiring after more than 20 years in the Corp. He was a Marine through and through, proudly wearing his Unit ring to his last day. A service at Tahoma National Cemetery 18600 SE 240th, St., Kent, WA with full military honors, will be conducted Monday, January 14th, 2008 at 11:15 AM. The inscription on his marker will read, ‘Semper Fi’.
