Charles Irving Johnson, age 86, passed away on July 26th, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. Charles was born in Seattle Washington on August 13th, 1930 to Herbert and Medina Johnson. Charles married Kathleen Johnson nee Hord and raised a family in the Burien area. Charles owned and operated Johnson & Sons Funeral Home and Cummings Chapel for number of years before following his passion of working at sea.
Charles Irving Johnson was a loving and dedicated father, husband, son, and friend whom will forever be missed.
Charles is proceeded in death by: Sister Anita Lalonde
Charles is survived by: Wife Kathleen, Son Carl, Daughter in law Nancy Johnson Granddaughters Alexi Speedie, Angela Brenner, and Breanne Krabbendamm; Great Granddaughters Ayva, Kayla, Emma and Hailey
Brother Brent Johnson and Sister Joan Benson and many nieces and nephews
Services will be held at Bonney Watson, Washington Memorial August 5th, 2017. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM with service to follow.
Hey Carl and family, Candace and I will be keeping you all in our thoughts as you lay your father to rest. I know the words that you will choose at your dad’s service will be words directly from God Himself. I know you will do a great and honorable job for your dad

with chuck and the Johnson family back in the 40’s !.
