Obituary
Born in Crystal, North Dakota on February 8, 1920 to William and Margaret McAndress O’Sullivan. Surrounded by his family in his home in Burien, WA, Charles passed away at the age of 85 on March 22, 2005. He attended Crystal High School and the U of ND. When his father was killed in a tragic accident, he took on the responsibility of the family farm at age 18. He eventually bought his own land in the Crystal area and farmed until 1966. In 1966, he moved his family to Seattle after being hired by a Boeing Recruiter. He retired from Boeing in 1985. He greatly enjoyed his retirement years traveling to all 50 states, Canada, Mexico and Europe. He loved gardening, grandchildren, visiting, storytelling, and returning to help friends and family farmers in ND and Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and 3 grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Evelyn; his children Dan Lea, Maureen Harvey Puppe, Jennifer Bob Canna, Mary Mike Foss O’Sullivan, Bill Lori, Colleen Hal Hartman, Susan Steve Low, Lori Chuck Schwartz, and Carrie Rob Jones O’Sullivan; a niece who was like a daughter Patty O’Sullivan; 4 sisters, Ida, Ann, Helen, Theresa; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
