Betty, I’m so sorry to hear. It was always such fun meeting you guys at the stable and “horsing around.” God Bless you. Holly
Charles was blessed to live a full life well through his “retirement” years — during which he thoroughly enjoyed his family and his marriage to Betty.
The Charles I got to know was after having retired from several professional careers. He then was free to pursue his community interests, and spending time with family & friends.
His upbringing, matched with an inquisitive mind never stopped considering how to construct that better mousetrap. There wasn’t many conversation topics that Charles couldn’t hold his own. And just get his mind clicking on a project, and he would lickety-split engineer a plan to organize & get the ball rolling.
I already miss, being able to call him up and ask Charles a question … but know that his talents were passed to his family, and through them, Charles is with us.
