Many great comments here from both family and friends. I knew Chuck as both a friend and as a coworker, where he supervised a staff of engineers and technicians. Chuck was an excellent engineer, but he was really in his element, when dealing with people and looking out for his employees. Chuck remembered so many little things that were important about his friends and employees, such as, “how are your wife and kids doing, has your son graduated? I admired him more than anyone I have ever met, and wish his family and friends many fond memories of Chuck, may he rest in pease.

We lived next to Chuck and Nadine in the mid 1980s. My wife, Susan, and our children, Ryan and Jaime, and I felt lucky to have Chuck as our neighbor because he was always so friendly and ready to help. Chuck was always upbeat and had a smile on his face. Chuck needed to have a project to work on around the house. He loved his kids and spoke hightly of them. He loved to hunt/fish the Wynoochie as I remember. We missed Chuck when we moved from the old neighborhood. I’ve kept in touch with him over the years. But Chuck True will be missed by many and I’m sure he has no idea of the positive ways he touched others lives around him. We miss you Chuck. Nadine was blessed to have shared life with him.

Peace to all,

One of my favorite memories of Uncle Chuck was his being able to fix my much loved rainbow suspenders mid-70’s after one of the clasps was crunched. He could fix anything and always had a ready smile and friendly comments. He will be missed. Love, Carolyn True Aaron Bueler

Nadine and family,

Chuck will be greatly missed by our family. Chuck had many “irons in the fire” before and after retirement including: Throughout his life he has loved to hunt and fish. He always had great stories to tell from his hunting and fishing trips.

He also enjoyed wood carving, and his gardening which included many types of vegetables and flowers.

Chuck was active in the local Elks Club and he participated in their Color Guard ceremonies many times at the Tahoma National Cemetery.

I will miss Uncle Chuck’s ready smile and friendly, joking sense of humor. He was always generous and kind. His talents and love warmed my life. When my wisteria blooms the seed came from his healthy vine it will always remind me of his green thumb and generous heart.

Nadine and family, We are going to miss Chuck so much. Summer is not going to be the same without him.For over 20 years we have enjoyed all his gardening wit and wisdom, and all the tomatoes and flower starts. He has been such a good and thoughtful neighbor. P.S. Chuck, I will be in the back yard this summer trying to pull up and get rid of all the ivy and morning glory!!! and I bet you will have a job tending to Gods beautiful gardens. There probably are no weeds in those gardens !!! Keep watching overall of us and the neigborhood. You will be missed. Love Jan and Colleen
