Obituary
Charlotte Mary Albert, age 88 died peacefully on Thursday, January 13, 2011 in Burien. She was born to Hans and Loretta Froland in Fortuna, North Dakota, December 26, 1922. Charlotte is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Robert Sheen and Charlene William Gould and her son-in-law, Lonnie Wintersteen; eight grandchildren; David Sheen, Jessica Jeff Hilburn, Sara Kenny Farthing, Rachael Steve Mattioli, Nathan Gould, Rebecca Josh Earl, Kevin Wintersteen and Renee Geoff Rook, 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mercedes Walls and Delores Chuck Spira, brothers, James Diane Froland and Jerry Sally Froland, She is also survived by Robert Albert, Elaine Dan Pistoresi and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jolene Wintersteen, granddaughter, Lisa Williams, sisters, Dorothy Kurth, Helen Froland, and Marguerite Gussner; brothers, Thomas and Donald Froland.
Charlotte moved from North Dakota to Seattle in 1942, going to work for the Boeing Company. She soon left Boeing to begin a career with Sears Roebuck & Company that lasted 40 years. She was a woman ahead of her time rising to the position of Assistant Manager in the Outlet Store on 1st Ave S, Seattle. Charlotte’s faith in God, the Church and her family gave her the strength and ability to face the many challenges of raising her 3 girls alone. Her family brought her joy and happiness throughout her life and her quick humor and smile will truly be missed.
The Rosary will be held at 10:30 am with the Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, 01/19/11 at St. Francis Catholic Church, 15236 21st Ave SW, Burien, WA. 98166. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
Dear Marilyn and Family, Christ’s peace to each and all of you! We were so sorry to hear of the death of your dear mother. Please know that all the family remain in our thoughts and prayers. May God’s infinite and merciful love sustain and console you all. God bless each and all of you!

I’m very sorry to hear about Mrs. Albert passing away. My condolences to the family.
My heart goes out to all the family in this time of grief. It’s hard to lose a loved one, but Our Lord has a special place for her in his garden of Angels up in heaven. She will be reunited with my Dad Walter and his parents Lucille and Preston who also have a garden place together.
