Chrishanda “Chrissy” Latissa Foster
Chrishanda Latissa Foster was born January 6, 1979 in Wilson, North Carolina, and passed away at home, as a result of a sudden illness on August 10, 2014 at the age of 35.
Chrissy worked as an ICU Monitoring Tech at St. Francis Hospital for many years. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and was currently a MBA student. Chrissy also loved to read.
Chrissy is survived by her father Eugene Foster, mother Charlotte Foster, sister Shannon Anderson, brother Tarrus Johnson, grandmother Pandora Ward, uncle Walter Foster, as well as many other uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Visitation for Chrissy will be held Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 2:00-5:00pm with a Memorial Service Friday, August 22, 2014 both at Bonney-Watson Federal Way, 1535 SW Dash Point Rd, Federal Way, Washington 98023.

I had the pleasure of knowing Chrissy for two years. I met her as a student doing clinical’s before I was hired at St. Francis Hospital. She was an amazing person with a positive attitude. She would share some of the funniest stories when we worked together.
Chrissy has touched a lot of people with her bright personality, including myself. I am so sorry for your loss and will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Foster family- I worked with Chrissy in ICU at St.Francis. She was such a valuble part of our team! She was so helpful to patients, visitors and staff. If you needed to know anything-all you had to do was ask Chrissy. We all loved her and she will be missed greatly! Sometimes we don’t understand why things happen, but we have to trust God and that he sees the bigger picture. I pray that He fills your lives with love and peace at this very hard time.

So sorry hear the news of your loss. It deeply saddened me. Please know that you and your family is in my prayers.
I like many others who have commented here, have had the privilege to work with Chrissy at St. Francis. As I reflect on who Chrissy was, she was a smart, strong, beautiful woman. When there was time to really get to know Chrissy I always felt honored to learn a little something about her, and she always had a way of making you feel special in those moments. I picked up early that Chrissy loved to read and we would often talk about different books we were reading or had already read. She was part of our St. Francis family, and she will be remembered and missed. My deep condolencses to the Foster family. You are all in my prayers.
I as well worked with Chrissy in the ICU at St. Francis. We shared the same funny love of music, shows, and movies. Knowing that I was going to be spending 12 hrs of my day with her, I knew there would be many many laughs and stories told. I always admired her passion for learning and love for reading. There’s was no doubt that she was an intelligent, funny, strong, and beautiful soul who enjoyed getting pretty and having fancy dinners. That I knew about her. Her laugh was like no other and was contagious to me 🙂
My prayers go out to the Foster family during this difficult time and I hope you all find some peace and comfort as well. I will continue to remember Chrissy and will keep you all in my thoughts and heart.

I am truely saddened to hear of Chrissy’s passing. I know Chrissy for greater than 10 years now through St Francis. I enjoyed that cute laugh and smile. We chatted about life, love, vacation , her mini cooper, dogs and great red wine. She loved that pup of hers as she would show me pictures of the latest cutie! She always had a way to make me smile. I also worked with chrissy and was shocked and saddened at her early and untimely passing , i always knew she was very respected as a fellow HUC and i had witnessed her funny laugh and sense of humor many times over the years, i will miss my encounters with her, although brief , she will not be forgotten . Hello Charlotte, You don’t know me but I stumbled across the obituary and wish you could accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. I have a daughter too two years older than Chrishanda and cannot imagine the pain a parent feels at having to lose a child. Our kids are supposed to bury us and not the other way around. Heaven needed an angel and decided on the best. May God comfort and heal the wounds. Stay strong. All Gods love to you and your family from South Africa
