Hello to Christel’s family and friends. I have a special place in my heart from being a friend of Christel’s. She is a spirit that lives on in many of us and she continues to keep inspiring us daily! I have a Hebe plant that she had given me awhile back that was about 3 inches in a small pot. It is now a bush that is about 3 feet in diameter and flowered some wonderful purple blooms this year. Yes, Christel LIVES! Toastmaster was out bonding point and since that time, we have stayed in touch with many Weyerhaeuser compatriots as long-lasting friends. I will miss Christel. Please accept my hug to her family!

Best Regards,

Cass

To The Family of Christel Brunnenkant

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to each of you. Although we are not acquainted with one another, we are acquainted with the pain when our loved ones fall asleep in death.

Our Heavenly Father feels the pain that you are going through. When he created the first Man and Woman it was his purpose that they and their offspring including us live forever without the effects of sickness and death.

His purpose has not changed for he promises that the day is soon to come in which he will wipe away the tears of sorrow from our eyes forever and death will be no more.

He promises too that your loved ones, my loved ones and many others will hear his voice and come out of the memorial tombs graves.

Christel was a terrific Toastmaster with a great sense of humor. It was stunning to learn of her passing, especially since she never gave a hint when we were together that she was fighting a private battle–but that was Christel. She was a flower and made the world around her a more beautiful place. I’ll miss her, as will many.

Dear Kurt and Monika,

We extend our deepest condolence to you and your family. Your Mom is a remarkable woman – inspiring, courageous, strong, adventurous, and caring. I saw her last at the SeaTac airport in January of this year when I was on my way to visit Philippines and she was on her way to India. She had a good eye and spotted among the many people in the security line. We had a good, long talk. We both worked at Weyerhaeuser Analytical laboratory for years and then she moved to another department. She also went to our house about three years ago

when we had a prayer gathering at home. We went to your house to pick plums long time ago when you were both little and my children were too. We will miss her but will always remember her in our thoughts and prayers.

We’ll see you at the celebration of her life on Sunday.

With our sincere condolence,

Florinda and Sonny Abrigo

Christel was an interesting person with a firey disposition, a sparkle in her eye and a personality that commanded excellence from herself and others. Her softer side rounded out the wonderful person she was and she will be thought of fondly as a co-worker and friend.
