Christopher Eric Dodge
Born: 12/26/78; passed: 6/12/05 at Harborview Hospital from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born and raised in Normandy Park, Chris’ entire education was in the Highline School District. A Network Engineer for Speakeasy, he loved computers and found them technically challenging and fascinating, and could fix anything computer related. His other passions were: skiing, diving, guitars and riding his motorcycle. Chris is survived by his daughter Rebecca “Becca” Marie. Becca made him proud and he loved her dearly. He was engaged to be married to Miss Cari Moffett his long time love. Chris was so excited about their expectant child. Chris is also survived by his parents Clark and Kathy Dodge, long time Normandy Park residents, brother, Tate wife, Cindy, sister, Tiffany boyfriend Ryan Elvis Morel and his two cats, Sam and Cleo. Chris experienced life to the fullest and will be sorely missed by family, friends and co-workers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the educational fund for the children at any Sterling Savings Bank location. Commemorative services will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM at BONNEY-WATSON Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac 206 242-1787.

We are very sorry to hear about Chris. I can still see his face when he came down on the boat with Clark. His eyes were so bright and he had the world in his hand. We know that he will be missed and we will keep him in our thoughts. Greg & Julie.
Clark, I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know Chris, however, I’ve known you and that only tells me he was “good people”.

Sometimes it is impossible for us to understand how and why God does the things he does. It is thru faith that we continue to move forward step by step. This is one of the times that we see only one set of footprints in the sand that represents our walk with Him. One of the times when He carries us. To all of the family and friends of Chris we extend our deepest sympathy and prayers and encourage you to keep the faith and move forward one step at a time. And when you have the opportunity to be with Chris you too can ask God “why” and at the same time thank Him!
My prayers are with the family. My God’s peace be with you in these hard times.
Our deepest sympathy in the lose of Christopher.
From the entire Weld shop and with our deepest sympathies for your loss, words cannot express what you must be feeling. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
God bless you and comfort you in your time of need.

We knew Chris from birth and he was the cutest and smartest little boy, we used to love to have him come over to visit us. We miss the family very much as our neighbors, and you don’t realize it until they are gone
Our hearts go out to you in this time of sorrow.
Our prayers are with your family in these hard times. May God’s love surround you and his peace be with you.
It was a prominent Hebrew theologian and teacher who wrote:”Hope that is seen is no hope at all. But if we hope for something promised by The Eternal, yet NOT seen, we wait patiently for it.” May that be our Hope. Baruch ha’Shem and Shalom.

Our thoughts are with the entire Dodge family during this difficult time.
God Bless and Be with you all. The family and I are without words to thank all who are with us at this sad and trying time. Chris was watching with his amazing smile and a can of Pepsi, thinking he has things to do with the friends who went before him. “Rest In Peace my son.”
Dad and Mom.
I wish I knew what to say. Chris has been a big brother to me since I was about 4 years old. About a month ago him and I went to a concert that no one else was willing to go to with me. I’ll never forget that night. And everytime i drink a pepsi I’ll never be able to not think about Chris lol.
Clark and Kathy, I have so many memories being at your house when I was younger. So many memories from before I can even remember. I’ll be seeing you soon, we have a baby on the way!
love you guys.
Sorry to hear of your loss. Myself and mom send our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Our sincere condolences to his parents Clark and Kathy Dodge, Cari Moffett, his brother Tate and especially his daughter Rebecca. It is difficult to find the right words for this tragic loss.
Our deepest condolences to the Dodge family. May the sun shine brighter for you and yours.

Dear Clark, I’m very sorry to hear about this. My daughter was apparently a good friend of Christopher, unbeknownst to me until this happened.

Our hearts go out to you on this day. Precious is the memory of those who made us laugh and smile. Thank you for sharing those fondest memories with us. Our heart felt condolences, the brown family.
Cathy, Clark, I went to Marvista with Chris. I spent much time with Chris at your house when we were younger. Justin Lentz told me about this terrible news the other day. I remember Chris as a good friend. I cannot begin to explain my sympathy for you. I’m so very sorry.
I shared an office with Chris at Internap for more than a year. We were hired at the same time and I saw him grow from a young man to a dedicated father. We had many long talks about his daughter. He loved her dearly. His curiosity, smarts, and good humor will be sorely missed.

You our in my thoughts and prayers. I am very sad for your loss. Chris was a great person and he will be missed. I know he loved his daughter and Cari very much. My only comfort is that I believe that he is getting to know his unborn child before he/she comes to this earth. I believe that he will always be watching over his children throughout their lives. I hope everything goes well with Cari’s pregnancy. With love, Liz Ely and our cats Pico-aka ‘spot’ and Zoe–Sam and Cleo’s girls
Christopher was so intelligent, kind and talented. All the girls at the dancing studio adored him. He never flaunted his gifted abilities, but treated everyone as his equal. He will be sorely missed.
