Obituary
Born on July 9, 1941, in San Jose, San Nicolas Pangasinan, Philippines, to Filomeno Quigtar Vicente and Pacencia Paraguas Balino, Cirilo grew up with his brothers Maximo and Pedro Vicente. In 1968, Cirilo immigrated to the United States, initially settling in Auburn, Washington, before making Seattle his home. He lived a life filled with love, dedication, resilience and kindness. Cirilo worked in the seafood industry for over 30 years, which complemented his passion for fishing and crabbing in Cornett Bay with his surviving brother, Maximo Vicente Sr.
Cirilo married his wife, Merlina, on March 14, 1970 and they have 3 children: Cheryle, Arnold and Cirilo Jr.
As a grandfather to Keoni, Jaelyn, Payton, Logan, Chloe, Mila, and Giovanni, Cirilo brought joy and warmth to his grandchildren. They cherished every moment spent with him, from cooking his famous meatloaf to teaching them how to properly cook rice, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Being surrounded by loved ones brought Cirilo the greatest happiness in life. Known for being one of the first ones on the dance floor and loving sense of humor, his legacy is one of love, generosity and dedication to family. Though he may no longer be with us, his spirit will live on in our hearts and the stories we share. Thank you, Cirilo (Doddy, Eloy), for the love and light you brought into our lives. You will be deeply missed, but your memory will remain with us always. Cheers!
