Obituary

Clarence “Kak” Alpheus Weaver Jr., son of Georgia Brown and Clarence A. Weaver Sr. Born June 17th 1920 on Vashon Island. He grew up in Yakima, Washington, graduated from Yakima high School then married Alyce Jaques, March 24th, 1940. They moved to Seattle in June 1940 where he worked for Boeing before enlisting in the United States Army in 1943. He was honorably discharged November 24th, 1945. He was a pioneer in the plastic industry owning A & B Plastics. Kak went on to be a quality control supervisor and retired from John Fluke Manufacturing. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Alyce; four children, Jerry Dorothy Weaver, Patricia Eugene Preece, Richard J. Weaver and Deborah J. Weaver Ronald; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; brother, Kenneth Otto Weaver and numerous nieces and nephews. He was an avid outdoorsman and taught all of his children how to fish and drive. Kak was loved by all. Committal Service will be held on Wednesday, November 9th at 10:30 AM at the Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA. A Memorial Service will follow Wednesday at 12:00 PM at 1st Presbyterian Church of Renton, 2640 Benson Rd. S, Renton, WA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Sisters of Providence Hospice of Seattle. The family has entrusted services to BONNEY-WATSON Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd., SeaTac, WA 206 242-1787.
