Claudia Hester Johnson of Kent died of Parkinson’s April 9th, 2005 at “Diana’s Home”. She was 90 years old. Born March 18, 1915 in Jamestown, North Dakota, she married Robert S. Johnson on February 16, 1935 in Sumner. They just celebrated their 70th anniversary. She was a homemaker and lived in Kent 31 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, four sisters, and a great-granddaughter, Heidi. Survivors include her husband, Robert Johnson; daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Harold Munson; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Kristin Johnson; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and one sister, Nona Neil, also, many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Amazing Grace Lutheran Church, 10056 Renton Ave. S, Seattle, WA 98178. I’ve know Great Aunt Toots for 21 years, as I married into the family, Tom Loewen. I have to say, whenever she entered a room, she was always happy. I have never seen her without a smile on her face.
Her funernal service was the best, as everyone knew that she was a great person & lucky to have had the opportunity to know. I know she is in a place where the angels fly.
