I grew up next door to Colin. He was my parent’s next door neighbor for over fifty years. He was one of the nicest people I have ever known. He was cheery, chatty, and interested in what was going on in your life. After my dad died he was always incredibly helpful to my mom. He made sure her garbage and recycling went out weekly, and delivered her newspaper to her front porch daily. He and Caroline always made sure that my mom was included in social gatherings and they checked on her almost daily. My brothers and I will always be grateful for Colin’s kindness, and the long friendship that my parents shared with Colin and Caroline. Having them next door meant we knew someone was keeping an eye on her. He was one of the good guys. A gem of a person. Rest in peace Colin. You will be missed.
I’m so glad that I got to know Collin. He was a man with a big smile and kindness. Enjoyed always seeing him he had a big heart. Thinking of the family at this difficult time with prayers.
