Cora “Corky” Marie Dahlke
69, passed away May 11, 2007 at her home in Seattle. She was born in Buffalo, NY on October 15, 1937 and has resided in WA most of her life. She was an Apt Mgr who everyone loved; she enjoyed crafting and collecting, but above all was a beloved Mother, Sister, and Nana. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children: one son, Patrick Dahlke, PA; Five daughters, Debi Hegewald; Terri Dahlke; Bobbi Mike Cheesman; Patti Jim Ketner; Jodi Dahlke all of WA. One brother: Charles Herbert, PA. Three sisters: Patricia Rocky Boci, NY; Mary Walters, PA; Kathy Sal Aronica, NY. She also leaves behind fifteen grandchildren who will miss their Nana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cora Choinski and Patrick Herbert, and beloved sister Joni Ferguson. There will be a memorial gathering Monday, May 21, 2007 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA. Cora “Corky” was our apartment manager. We are thankful to have know her. Corky, thank you for all the wonderful stories we’ve shared and the sincere motherly advice. We will miss you and your beautiful smile.
I met Corky at the apartment complex and felt right at home with her. My prayers and thoughts are with her entire family. May she rest in peace and love.
