I will remember craig as an asset to our country, as a good friend and as an awesome guy that i was blessed to get to know. Our friendship was brief but unforgetable. He had a caring, thoughtful, kind and understanding heart. He was intelligent and thrived on the challenges of life. He loved what he did and put everything he had into it. He didnt get to complete a mission he had in mind but can now continue it in a better place. I feel lucky to have known this man and will forever have his memory in my heart.
Love always and Forever
Renae
I heard many stories about Graig and Stephan during the years as a close neighbor to their Grandparents Dean and Mary Lou in Ottumwa. I cannot begin to express my shock at this absolute tragedy. My sincere condolences to the family during this difficult time.
I am a retired Ballard High School teacher who was fortunate enough to have had the pleasure of having Craig in my class. I was his Spanish teacher. I was so saddened to read of Craig’s untimely death. He was such a nice young man. I will always remember his sweet smile, sense of humor and his quiet, gentle way. My condolences to the family.
This quote came from an unknown author and was shared with me. I found it only fitting to share it with you…
”And if I go, while you’re still here…Know that I live on, vibrating to a different measure – behind a thin veil you cannot see through. You will not see me, so you must have faith. I wait the time when we can soar together again – both aware of each other. Until then, live your life to the fullest. And when you need me, just whisper my name in your heart…I will be there.”
Rest in peace Craig, you are in my heart forever. I am eternally grateful for having our lives cross paths, for being able to call you a friend, for the dance moves you taught me, for the laughter we shared, and for the courage you have given me that will radiate forever in your honor.
