Curtis Eugene Harris

Curtis was born August 13, 1927 in Spokane, WA, and died October 18, 2008 in Tacoma, WA at the age of 81. Curtis worked for the FAA and retired as a Budget and Program Analyst. His army and government careers took him to many exotic places in Korea, Afghanistan, and Japan where he met his wife. He did two hitches in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. His hobbies included stamp collecting, computer software programming and bowling. He was also a life member of the Nile Shriners in Lynwood, the Masonic Blue Lodge, Royal Arch Masons, Council of Select Masters, and the Knights Templar. Curtis is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Akemi Harris, daughters Ericka Harris, and Lorna Harris, and his sister Lorna Hillary of Arizona, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. A Memorial Service for Curtis will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 11:00am at Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4301 Browns Point Blvd. NE, Tacoma, WA 98422, 253 927-3301.
