Obituary
Held tightly in the loving embrace of the Holy Spirit, Cynthia Condes, a woman so devoted to God with a deep and abiding faith, was delivered home to our Lord peacefully after a sudden, but short battle with cancer on Thursday, April 17th, during the holiest week of the year.
Our angel, Cynthia Bautista Condes, was born on April 11, 1953 in Manila Philippines, the third daughter of Consolacion and Jesus Condes and the sister to five siblings whom she loved deeply.
In 1962 she moved to Seattle with her family, where she attended Montlake Elementray, Meany Junior High and Garfield High School, graduating in 1971 with honors.
After attending Seattle Central Community College, Cindy started her career with Swedish Medical Center where she worked as a financial counselor for nearly 30 years. A hardworking woman, Cindy also was employed with United Collections for more than two decades.
Outside of work, Cindy (or Tita Cindy as she was known by many), loved spending time with her large extended family and rescuing and caring for animals. She always found joy in helping others. Tita Cindy touched the lives of many and was the example of pure, unselfish goodness. We will cherish her always.
She is preceded in death by her father Jesus Condes and mother Consolacion Condes.
She is survived by her brothers Arturo Condes (d. Erlinda), Jesus Jr. (Sally) Condes, Wilfredo Condes; her two sisters Carmelita Tomas (d. Dionisio) and Carolina Larson; nieces and nephews Christina Buchholz (David), Joseph Tomas (Melissa), Marie Holifield (Kerry), Dana Pake (Brian), Katherine Larson, Briawna Condes (Levi), Jesse Condes (Jessie), Desha Condes (Dwayne), Renee Condes, and Ciony Condes, all of Seattle; as well as many great nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own grandchildren.

You are forever in our hearts, and our lives are forever changed by our friendship.
Cynthia…..I can’t believe you are no longer with us. You were such a good friend and I will cherish you always.
I remember Cynthia from Montlake and Garfield, her kindness, and her sweet smile. My thoughts are with her family.
No heart breaks alone for God is always near. When a prayer is whispered God is always there to hear. When sorrow’s overwhelming, He comforts tenderly. A single tear never falls that he does not hear.(Psalms 65:2)
It was hard coming back to the office Wednesday knowing that you are not coming back. I cannot contain myself but cry after our weekly meeting. You are greatly miss Ate, my lunch/shopping buddy.
