The world has lost a very special person, and I am honored to be able to say that Daisy Lilley was my friend.
A more kind and gentle woman shall I ever meet. Her love for dogs and knowledge may forever be silenced, yet she lives on in many hearts and minds. We have lost an important icon in the Spaniel community, of which there will be no replacement.
Our thoughts go out to Daisy’s family in this time of loss. She will be dearly missed by those whose lives she touched.
The LILLEY family has lost two of the most wonderful people I know.my prayers are with you..I have known Daisey and Joe for so many years, memory of the two,They went to the my first Papillon Nat’l in wa, many years ago and My little bitch came so close to winning the breed, she went bos to the vet dog, Daisey of course thought we were robbed, my little girl was also called lily, Daisey was her biggest fan. I lost my lily this year but I know she was waiting for Daisey at the gates along with Snap and the rest of her little toy spaniel and springers I will miss you and Joe love you both Arvilla
Daisy was such an influential person in our local Springer Spaniel Club. She knew so many things and always shared her knowledge with new people.
After Joe died all she wanted to do is be with him. Thiers was a great and timeless love. She is with him now and, I imagine, very happy.
Say Hi to Joe for us Daisy.
God Bless.
Fifteen years ago when we were new to the springer world, Daisy & Joe were alway there to share with us their knowledge of springers from confirmation to hunting, breeding and just to love our breed. Our sympathy to the family but just think, Daisy & Joe are happily together once more with all of their springers.
Each memory of Daisy brings a smile. We met at the Moses Lake dog show, she took me under her wing, taught me how to groom and handle a dog, shared her knowledge of the breed and her dog stories. More importantly she taught me by example…how to be a stronger person. Heaven knows the dog world requires it and Daisy was the strongest woman I have ever met. She changed my life and I am forever grateful for having her as a mentor. She was a true lady…
Sincere condolences to the Lily family.
