My Godfather – he had such a positive impact on my childhood. Thank you for your enduring love, patience and kindness toward my brother Steve and I. He will always be with me.

Dale: We wouldn’t trade this past year of caring for you for anything. We will miss the weekend excursions to Lowe’s and other places. We will miss your gentle kindness, your wonderful sense of humor, and the trust and respect we had for each other. It was a pleasure and a privilege to know you. Rest in Peace. Dale & Betty

Uncle Dale, I have great memories of growing up and being around you and Daddy. I think family was your first love, cars your second and women came in a close third!!! You told it the way it was.

I remember you smiling when you saw all of your nieces and nephews. You always seemed to have change in your pocket and we were happy for that.

You are now with Daddy Lyle, Rex, Lois, Pat and Vance plus Nonnie and Grandpa Nott. We all love and miss you, Love, Janice

Uncle Dale, My memories of uncle Dale are of a family man, who cared for his mother, family so very much. He never touched alcohol or cigrettes. He made sure ”things were in order” if that included him and Don kicking their attorneys ass for not keeping his word then that’s what happened. No hate, just business !

We all knew Dales love for the automobile, classis, hot rods and hot boat and hot women. I never heard him say anything bad about anyone, sure he would say something about what the person had done or not done but not about the person. He was one of the few people who “welcomed” me home from vietnam at a time when most turned their backs on the veterans. And yes Dale was a Veteran, He served in the United States Navy.

He also gave me the CAR BUG, my real first job..yes, working in the Ford garage sanding cars, go figure, im still doing it today.

I well miss him but I well not forget him. Love, Max Loffgren

Dear Uncle Dale,

What a ride! You lived to the fullest and worked hard to be able to buy your own business and enjoyed rebuilding great cars. I remember when you would ask us when we were little “whose the most handsome man in the world?” We would all answer Unce Dale! You would give us a quarter or dollar depending on how enthusiastic we were. You dressed beautifully and never went without a beautiful woman on your arm. I will never forget you taking me home from a get together in your Ferrari. There was something about speed and running red lights that appealed to you. When we got to my place I felt like I knew how fast a rocket could go. God had a plan for you later in life to make sure you were safe in your later years. He picked your nephew Jeff. You loved him like the son you never had and he never faltered to make sure you had the care and love you needed. Jeff’s wife Joan was always there to support him in making sure you both were Ok. Much Love Uncle Dale.

Dear Family

So sorry to hear of the loss of Dale. Seems like I have known him forever. Bought my first car at the old place in White Center. My dad had the hamburger place next door so Dale and I got to be really close friends. Now he is with the rest of his siblings and probably having fun, especially to be with his dog again. So sorry for your loss.

Sincerely,

Kathy “Creek” McLemore
