Dear Greta, John, James,

Robert and Charles,

I have you in my heart and in my prayers at this time of great loss. Sufferings in this earthly life are over for dear Dan and he is now living in the unending joy of heaven, awaiting that wonderful day when we will all be re-united. In the meantime I pray that our loving Lord will fill your hearts with comfort and peace.

I just wanted to let Greta and her sons know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I know if my mother, Ruth Charlotte Mason was still alive she would what to know if there was anything she could do for Greta. Mom was very found of both your father and mother. We were always thankful that we had such wonderful neighbors as the Burden’s. God Bless you all. The Mason Family

Dear Burden Family, as a co-worker of Chuck, I would like to extend my heartfelt sympathies on the passing of Mr. Burden. Chuck’s love for his father has been apparent over the last several months and I was honored that he felt safe in sharing his feeling with me. May God bless and watch over all of you as he sits by the side of his new angel. Sincerely, Kathy Sroufe
