Daniel Joseph MARX, Jr.
57, born January 21, 1949, died March 29, 2006. He is survived by his mother, Mary Helen Marx; of Seattle, sister Julie Potter Marx and husband Jim Potter, of Ferndale, Washington, brothers Bill Marx, of Seattle, and Warren Marx; of Ferndale, nieces Danaë and Debbie Potter, of Ferndale, and dear and special friend, Lisa Nyreen and her daughter Lindsey, of Seattle. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel J. Marx, Sr., in 1998. Graduate of Rainier Beach High School in 1967 & Oregon Technical Institute in 1971. He was an engineer, employed at Boeing for 34 years. Lifetime member of the Pioneer Association of the State of Washington, Washington State Pacific International Trapshooters Association, and Amateur Trapshooters Association. Dan enjoyed competitive trap shooting with friends from all over the Northwest. Starting in 1977, Dan’s lifetime total target count was 181,000. Memorial Service, 11:00 AM, Friday, April 7, 2006 at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 16445 International Blvd., SeaTac.
