Obituary

Dave M. Carver, of Burien, WA., passed away on October 30, 2018, at the age of 94. He was born April 27, 1924, in Donald, Oregon, to Erl and Geno Carver.

Dave was a pilot, and Captain, with United Airlines, and retired in 1984.  He began his career, with United in 1952, and had a love of flying since he was a teenager, taking flying lessons.  During his career he flew both domestic, and international flights, and many types of aircraft.  He felt he was so fortunate to be able to go to work and do what he loved to do.  He was a member of R.U.P.A.(Retired United Pilots Association). 

Dave, and the love of his life, Margaret, celebrated 71 years of marriage, this year, and had two children, Christy and Douglas.  They loved traveling, and spending time in Kauai, playing golf.  Dave enjoyed his retirement, flying small aircraft, vacationing, playing golf, gardening and spending time with family, and friends.  He was kind-hearted, happy and enjoyed life to it’s fullest.  His favorite song was “What a Wonderful World”.

He is survived by the love of his life, Margaret Carver, Burien, WA., their daughter, Christy Fancher ( Steven), Bremerton, WA., Grandchildren, Michael, Jon, Megan, Benjamin and Ian.  Great-Grandchildren, Christian, Kyle, Jamieson, Hailey, Savanna, Jaidyn, Nathan, Jackson and Easton, as well as Great-Great Grandchild, Soraya.

 Dave was preceded in death by their son, Douglas Carver.

 Private Family Services will be held.
