Obituary

A beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, poppy and friend. He was absolutely loved and adored by ANYONE who had the pleasure to know him personally or just crossing paths at his work. He has been married to his wife and soul mate Debi Crum- Hildebrand for 34 short years. They were each others best friends. They loved to live, laugh and and do life together. They never had a dull moment of chasing a good laugh, a deep kiss and busting moves.. no matter when or where. He was the most amazing man I knew and James Harrah, Phil Hildebrand, James Boyce, and I were blessed enough to have him as our father. I couldn’t be more thankful to have such a wonderful man wrapped around my finger and well I guess love my brothers too. He had a way of loving all of us in our own unique and individual ways. He got to go to his heavenly home and be with his sweet parents Lorraine and James. He had let us know that they were in the room with us and it’s been so long until they got to have such a well deserved hug. He is leaving behind his other half… literally. His twin brother whom was his best friend. They had a bond that was so undeniable, such banter and shared stories for days. We are lucky to have Mark Hildebrand to have a glimpse of my daddy and sometimes you’ll catch yourself and get chocked up. He also leaves behind his two sisters Pamela Haywood and Janet Hassouneh whom he absolutely adores. The family dynamic is big but so incredibly special. He also joins his sister Sue in heaven. Whom I’m certain was there with open arms. He was the COOLEST uncle Ryan Hildebrand, Julie Paulsen, Paula White, Jody Leon, Suhaila Hassouneh, Sadi Hassouneh got to have. He loved them as if they were his own. One of the best parts of David Hildebrand is his 9 grandchildren. My daddy absolutely adored every single one of them in there own special ways. They are all shook to know that they have lost such a fun, loving and outgoing papa that he was. His jokes, his laughs, his banter, his noises, the dance moves and everything that made my dad, my dad.

My father dedicated 30 years to the Home Depot family. This man opened this store and has always taken such pride and love in the job he did. If you needed something, he knew it. He was a man of many, many, many things. He was smart, absolutely hilarious, young at heart, and made an impact on anyone he came in contact with. He was a Navy veteran and proud at that. He took so much pride in loving his family and would show pictures to a stranger on the corner. There was nothing this man wasn’t proud of! He had a LOVE for guns, trying new pubs, all things NASCAR, going fishing, playing dice and a nice cold beer. He made the best pancakes, had the most beautiful blue eyes, gave the BEST hugs, always smelt fabulous, the biggest smile, and made the goofiest jokes no matter what the atmosphere was .. he always made it lighter. We are all undeniably grieving such a sudden and heartbreaking loss. As hard as our short goodbyes were we are all so thankful for the time we had. He is someone to cherish and celebrate.
