Dear Family,
I too miss Dave, who left a profound influence on my life.
Our prayers are with you at this time of loss.
Our sincere condolences to Bernice and family. Dave will always be remembered for his Christian perspectives and wise counsel to my daughter and I. We shared many moments together during lunchtimes at Boeing Aerospace. Dave’s book and the keen mind that wrote it remain an inspiration.
He will be missed!
I worked directly with Dave a few times, and was around him for several years. He was a very knowledgeable scientist, and believed in people. He had a great sense humor, a wry wit, and we punned at each other in French and even a bit of Latin where he shone! It was a great priviledge to have known him.
Brian.
He was a wonderful man who made working at Boeing not only interesting but fun.
We didn’t know Dave for a very long period of time but feel blessed that our paths crossed and we were able to share some time with this fine Christian Man.
We share wonderful memories of Dave way back to your early days and when we lived in Lake Hts. He was a loving person with a wonderful mind and sense of humor. He loved the Lord, and we rejoice in his release from his frail body to be with Jesus.
Our prayers are with you in your loss of Dave.
Love,
Dick and Betty

David L. Dye was a caring and wonderful grandpa. I remember many happy memories with him. Whether driving cross country or just watching old Abbot and Costello, I always learned something new. I will miss him, but he is in a better place. I love you Grandpa.
Dear Bernice and family,
Our deepest sympathy on the homegoing of Dave. We are so grateful that he is in the presence of Jesus and more alive than ever before. What a joy it was to know Dave in this life, and what a wonderful hope we have to know we will see him again. He was a remarkable scientist, an inspiring Bible teacher, and a strong witness to the partnering of faith and intellectual persuit.
In Christian love,
Jim & Brenda Giordano and boys
Dave was my first Christian mentor and Dave and Bernice were the first Christians to take us into their home for Bible study. We are eternally grateful.
Bernice and family,
33 years ago Dave hosted a weekly bible study for young college students at your home. I was blessed as Dave taught us how to study the bible and memorize bible verses. Dave taugh us about Christ and gave us the tools to faithfully follow and serve Him. I know Dave was greeted by our Lord as he entered into peace and heard those precious words: “Well done good and faithful servant”. God bless you and keep you always.

Dear Bernice and family,
We are so sorry for your tragic loss. We trust that Dave is rejoicing with his Lord and Savior, and looking down at us saying, “Hey, don’t worry about me. I’m fine. I told you I would.” But we will miss this special gifted gentleman and his Sunday School Bible lessons, his huge Bible knowledge, and his sweet spirit.
God bless you all,
Allan and Nikki
I worked with and for Dr. Dave Dye for several years while he was with The Boeing Company. He was a fine scientist and good person.
Your first date, your visit to me in India with baby Danny, my Sunday school teaching with Bernice at Ft. Lewis, good times at Tabernacle Baptist, & the last time I saw you at Tab’s Centennial.
It is always sad when this world and your family losses a person of your integrity and strength. Uncle Dave, your abilities provided me with a template to reach forward and to achieve. Thank you.
Dad, I have been saying good bye to you for the past several years as you have been slipping away from us. This final good bye comes with a mixture of grief and joy. What freedom you now have as you are walking and talking with your Lord.
