David Sepulveda, Sr

June 11, 1937 - January 31, 2009

Obituary

David, 71, passed from this world into God’s perfect love on Jan 31, 2009 at his home in Burien, Washington. Born June 11, 1937 in Lansing, Michigan to Juan and Augustine Sepulveda. He married Frances Chavira on October 7, 1957. He was a father of six, Susie, David, Jr. Chapo, Art, Anita, Vickie and Andrea, grandfather to 36. He was survived by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. David retired from Coastal Transportation in 2000 where he worked with both his sons. In the same year David was born, Amelia
Earhart disappeared, Hindenburg burst into flames and the Golden Gate Bridge was opened! Joe Louis was heavy weight champ and The hobbit part of The Lord of the Rings Series was published. The price of gas was $.10 a gallon and a house cost about $4100.00, a pound of hamburger cost $.35 and new car was $760.00. David loved to take walks and he would find lots of coins and many treasures. He loved John Wayne movies and going to Muckelshoot Casino. Much loved, David will be greatly missed! God didn’t promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

Thank you for sharing him over the years. He worked very hard for our company during his employment at Coastal Transportation. May the good times help during this sad time.

I was so shocked when Ladis called and told me about David’s passing. It broke my heart. He was such a great part of my childhood. I am eternally grateful for your impact on my life. Love you guys. I will try and be there on Friday.
